Malaika has been the creative lead for brands like Procter & Gamble, Arm & Hammer, Clorox, Chase Bank, Subway, Marriott Hotels, and many others.

She spent most of her career at top NYC agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, HAVAS, Dentsu McGarry Bowen and Publicis, where she learned the importance of breakthrough creative and, most importantly, the magic of collaboration between clients and creatives.

What sets her apart is her ability to listen (really, listen) to client feedback and transform it into work that not only breaks through creatively but also drives sales.

From CPG to Maseratis, billion-dollar banks to Pepto Bismol dances, Malaika has launched digital agencies, directed brand films, developed strategies, lead IATs and creative directed work that builds beloved brands and earns consumer loyalty.

Before her advertising career, she began in broadcast journalism, anchoring the ABC affiliated morning show AM Mohawk Valley, in Utica NY (yes, she had newscaster hair and met Mr T.) She then moved into media training and public relations before finding her true home in advertising, where she has remained ever since.
